Admittedly these themes are far and few between, as they could be considered exceptionally specialist – but then again our post on themes for construction companies is probably our highest trafficked post (and its specialist).
I have surfed the internet (for hours) to come up with the top five themes for garages & car repair shops so you don’t have to (unless you already have that is). Below is my top recommendations.
The ‘Garage’ theme was only released in January 2015 and has already notched up an impressive 30 sales (in less than 2 weeks).
Ideal for any auto mechanic workshops main website, the theme has been built to cover almost every eventuality. It is fully WooCommerce compatible, has a powerful theme options panel, can be translated into any language, and has the all modern all important drag & drop page builder.
With too many features to mention, it will turn your bland WordPress install into something special, with only a little tinkering.
Whether you are an out and out repair shop or also offer additional services such as car washing this WP theme may be jut what you are looking for.
With a custom built drag & drop page editor, review section where customers can leave their rating, and built in appointment form the ‘Auto Service’ theme is one of the best choices available.
As with all templates of this standard it is fully responsive, and comes with purpose made video tutorials to ensure your website will be up and running faster than you can change a spark plug.
A theme specifically built for mechanics, and anyone else that owns a repairs shop. This theme was only released in September 2014 and considering just how specialist the theme is has clocked up a good amount of sales.
The theme itself comes preloaded with $168 worth of premium plugins; including the visual composer plugin to ensure you can easily get your repairs garage website looking just how you want it to.
This theme is WooCommerce ready, and has been built on the Bootstrap 3 framework.
‘CarPress’ is a premium WordPress theme built for those in the automotive repairs trade, though the theme could also easily be adapted for any local tradesmen.

In addition the theme offer will take on customization work, if you are needing any further functionality that is not included straight out of the box.
This is a monster theme that has over 80 different demos. However one of these demos has been created with mechanics in mind. The ‘mechanic’ demo can be installed with a single click and customization will be an easy process due to the amount of features the theme offers.
A truly five star theme with more advanced features, and functionality than I can include in this short article. Check it out to see just what is possible.
Many of these WordPress themes designed for garages, and specifically mechanics have only just been released over the last few months. It is likely as we get further into 2015 more and more niche themes will continue to be released, and any that are a great match will be added to this article.
If however you have come across a auto repairs theme that I have missed, please let me know in the comments below and I will be sure to look it over and make a decision as to whether it should or should not be included.
I hope you have found the perfect template for your mechanic workshop, but if not don’t despair – bookmark this page and check back at a later date.
