Last year our post about one page WordPress themes was one of our most popular, therefore I have decided to revisit the subject with this up to date post.
WordPress themes are increasingly sought after, and in 2015 I doubt there will be themes more popular than those of the single page variety, especially if they are also designed using parallax.
Below I have taken a selection of my favorite template releases.
I saw this theme released on Themeforest today and just had to add it to the collection, it is virtually everything I have grown to love about single page WordPress themes, although with this particular theme you can also choose a multi-page layout if you prefer.
Built using Bootstrap 3, this HTML5 theme is both fully responsive and retina ready. A beautiful theme, that would make any design agency proud.
Brooklyn is a single page theme designed for creatives, and those business’ that specialize in design. The theme itself incorporates many features that will allow you to design your website exactly how you want it.
As with many of the most popular themes of recent times Brooklyn offers parallax scrolling effects, and numerous shortcodes to help you with the design process.
The theme itself offers 8 different skins, and 7 different header styles to choose from. It also comes pre-loaded with the revolution slider, shortcode manager, and font awesome.
Although Brooklyn has been designed as a one page WordPress theme, you can also create multiple pages if this suits certain aspects of your website better.
This particular WordPress theme was launched in August 2013, but has been updated many times since and in my opinion has not lost any of its appeal.
As well as being a one page theme, it also offers parallax, and infinite scrolling features to give your website that professional touch.
In addition, ‘Jarvis’ has 6 different menu styles, 12 different home page layout options (with video support), and Mailchimp is supported right out of the box.
Chillout is a one page theme that has adopted a clean minimal look and feel, but don’t let that fool you – there is plenty of features under the hood.
The theme offers parallax scrolling effects, a drag and drop page builder, and a revolution slider to ensure that your website is as exciting as you want it to be.
The powerful administration panel ensures virtually everything can be easily updated, and this includes unlimited color options, and Google font support.
Whether you are looking to create a corporate website or personal portfolio Chillout may be the WordPress theme you have been looking for.
Patti is an elegant clean one page theme with an impressive page builder built for the unsophisticated user. You can check out the page builder in action here.
In addition to the layout builder this theme also comes pre-packed with a visual composer, and an extremely powerful admin panel.
As well as being extremely responsive, this theme also allows you to use scrolling parallax features if and when you want them.
‘Ananke’ is a modern one page theme that boast a whole lot of features, but it is likely its sleek design that will win over potential buyers.
The theme offers 4 different demos, though you can additional select whether you want to see these demos with the dark skin (as per the image below) or the light skin.
Initially launched in December 2014 ‘Ananke’ has already racked up an impressive number of sales.
Theme features include; powerful theme options panel, drag and drop page builder, the ability to choose unlimited colors, create unlimited layouts, parallax effects, ability to add video, and many more besides.
907 is a one page parallax theme with literally hundreds of options. There are six different header options, unlimited parallax sections, unlimited sidebars, the ability to choose between one page and multi-page websites, easy color options, a powerful administration panel and more besides.
The developer has offered 7 very different demos to help you get a feel of exactly what this theme is capable off, and you should really check them out before deciding if this is the theme for you (or not).
Although this theme was actually initially released in 2013 it is a lot of WordPress theme for your buck.
The theme boast an advanced page building tool that can be seen here, a light skin and a dark skin, a layered slider builder, drag and drop galleries, retina support and much more. The theme is also one of just a handful on this list that is 100% compatible with WooCommerce straight out of the box.
A well documented theme with great support and ongoing updates.
A single page WordPress theme from arguably the best theme club in town.
The theme features a drag and drop home page building feature, is SEO optimized, and built for speed. In addition the options panel provided by these guys is arguably the best in the industry.
A clean coded WordPress theme, with parallax effects, CSS3 animations, floating menu option, and beautiful looks – yep don’t forget the beautiful looks!
‘Divi’ is more a framework for building unique websites than it is a theme, but when you look at how it all fits together you just know that it is something that you want to try.
Instead of me telling you just whats possible lets just look at some real life websites designed using this simple drag & drop framework – Lens Distortions, The Design Space, & Conversion Lab (pretty amazing aren’t they?)

As with Divi the X theme is really a lot more than just a one page WordPress theme, it is really a framework to help you build all sorts of websites – it just so happens it lends itself well to this type of website building.
The X theme can be used to build any sort of website directed at any niche. To really appreciate the awesome power of this WordPress theme you should really check out their sales page, there is little I can say here that will do the theme justice.
Freelancer has been built specifically for those looking to gain new clients, though I also think it lends itself well to those looking for an online resume (which is why I added it to my list of resume themes).
The colors of the demo may put you off (or you may love them) but rest assured these can be changed easily in the advanced options panel. If you are still unsure you can easily request to test a demo of the theme, just look for the button on the next page that says “Test Theme For Free”.
Visia is a one page WordPress theme that has been designed both for business and creative use. The theme itself is fully responsive, retina ready, and has a number of advanced features to help you get your website up and running quickly with a minimal amount of fuss.
This theme grabbed my attention straight away when deciding to revisit single page WordPress themes. Only released in September 2014, it has already racked up over 1,000 sales and has a solid five star rating (at the time of writing).
The themes page builder allows you to build your pages using an easy to understand drag and drop interface, and other theme controls allow you to easily manipulate color, and other common elements.
Whether you are looking to create a business website, an online portfolio, or are looking for a landing page to collect email addresses then the Simple theme may be just what you are looking for.
While simple in name, the theme is packed with backend options to allow you to alter the website, and includes the ever popular visual composer page builder as part of the package.
Based on Bootstrap 3, the theme also includes parallax effects and CSS3 animations.
Newave is a one page WordPress theme that has been carefully designed to fit perfectly with almost any goal. Whether you are building a corporate website, design portfolio, photography website, or a website for general business purposes then you may want to include this on your shortlist.
The theme includes six home page sections, background video support, four navigation styles, and some pretty awesome blog templates.
Unfortunately due to the parallax nature of this theme taking a great screenshot is no easy task, so I’m afraid you are going to have to click through and check out the demo.
The developer calls the theme “the ultimate one page parallax theme” but I’ll let you make up your own mind.
A nice simple one page theme that has been built for those looking for a WordPress theme to help market their apps.
The theme has been built to be fully responsive, and allows you to choose between a patterned background, colored background or select an image. Simplicity appears to be key.
Another theme that describes itself as “the ultimate single page parallax theme”, but this time with the feedback rating to back up the claim. This theme allows you to add parallax scrolling to any element using shortcodes.
An extremely powerful theme with three working demos to choose from.
Horme is one of those themes that could be made to suit almost any type of website. There are three demos to choose from, drag and drop page builder, powerful theme options panel, dark version & light version, choice of unlimited colors, Google font support, CSS3 animations and much much more besides.
An advanced single page theme with smooth parallax scrolling, visual page composer. This theme has been designed with app developers in mind, and ensures your product will not be fighting for attention. A really nice theme that does what it says on the tin.
Gliese offers a choice of parallax or video background, an extensive options panel, powerful shortcode editor, 650+ Google fonts and over 430 icons. Also includes over 35 CSS3 animations.
An ideal theme for creatives and business’alike this theme has been built using Bootstrap 3.1.1 and is fully responsive.
A modern one page landing page theme with powerful and easy to use design options to ensure your startup, digital magazine, web app, or website gets an amazing design from the start with minimal fuss.

Start is a Genesis child theme that has been created with start up companies in mind. While not a StudiPress theme it has been designed by one of the very best third party Genesis theme developers out there.

This single page WordPress theme comes with six home page variations to choose from, is fully responsive on any device, and has an additional 12 color variations that can easily be selected using the back end options panel. An ideal choice of theme for any number of business, corporate or personal websites.
I like when font is used as part off the design, and you couldn’t ask for much more than is offered with Singular. The template is fully responsive, with a great choice of Google fonts & retina display support. The theme was last updated in February 2014.
With over 2,000 this theme has been tried and tested, with great feedback and regularly updated to ensure it stays compatible with the latest versions of WordPress. Lots of theme options and over 500 Google fonts to choose from. .
We are likely to see many more one page WordPress theme released throughout 2015 and I will be sure to add the very best of these to the above list. Parallax design (whether you like it or loathe it) I predict will also feature highly in 2015 releases.
